Brand Marketing Strategy, Graphic Design, Photography

The Harvard Shop is a $4M+ in annual revenue retail business within Harvard Student Agencies, the largest student-run company in the world and the second-largest employer of students on Harvard’s campus. As the FY23 Marketing Manager, I was responsible for all marketing for the agency including photography, design, email marketing, social media, and copywriting. I worked closely with a team of 7 other managers and upper management (C-Suite) in business strategy for the company. In addition, I managed an intern specializing in social media growth, particularly TikTok, during the full-time summer term. My photographs were featured on the Instagrams of Harvard Admissions (for VISITAS), Hype & Vice, and Lo + Jo.

OVERVIEW

PHOTOGRAPHY

EDITORIAL PHOTOGRAPHY WAS A KEY MARKETING STRATEGY FOR THS.

By changing the marketing strategy for the launch of new products from a regular “spontaneous” lifestyle feel to more editorial-cinematic styled photos, I was able to change the brand image to fit some of our more premium products (on trend with competing campus stores) and increase sales, reaching a wider audience.
